Choose your Palette: Rustic Chic

The Rustic Chic palette incorporates a rustic look with chic, modern features.  The idea that opposites attract defintely works well here.

The cabinetry selection is a cream Aristocraft in Toasted Antique with a Durham style door.  The shiny glaze adds spark and class to this cabinet and will highlight well off of the flooring selections, especially in the kitchen.  For the kitchen and front entryways Sierrafield offers a wood laminate option as a standard features.  The product we chose for the Rustic Chic look is from the Formica Quintessa line.  The wood is a Dalarna Birch (D2470).  The dark hues and gentle grain resemble a rustic look, but with a touch of city chic.  For the bathrooms, a vinyl flooring is a standard feature at the Sierafield condos.  For this look, we’ve chosen the Jumpstart line from Mannington in Vermont Slate (#71051).  For the bedroom and living areas we chose Stainmaster Presitge carpet from the AF305 Destin Board in Nutcracker (5713).

Our standard option for countertops at Sierrafield is a solid surface product from Diamond Surfaces.  For fun, we have included not only a selection from their line, but also an upgraded Quartz option from HanStone.  From Diamond Surfaces we chose Cappuchino (C106).  From HanStone we chose the Reanaissance line’s Victorian Sands (RS308).

For the main paint color we’ve chosen Graham 8231W- Sawyer’s Fence.  With an accent of Graham 8235D – Brush Box.  These colors will help set a calm tone in the home while allowing the cabinet, flooring, and countertops to play the starring role.

For the lighting package, we chose the Thomas Cambridge collection.  The finish is a colonial bronze which will make the brown glaze of the cabinetry really pop.  The 5 light chandelier for the dining area will tie in the rustic and chic looks.  Look for model SL8191_23 at Menards.
